EnCompass Academic Support and Tutoring (AST), is looking for part-time Academic Coaches who must be content experts in the areas of algebra, geometry, US History, Global and Living Environments; prior tutoring experience of high school students in urban settings required; teaching certification preferred . Hours: Monday through Friday between 10am and 3pm. Academic Coaches will be assigned to the following schools; Freddie Thomas, Jefferson, and Northeast/Northwest. Substitute Coaches also needed for these schools.
Part-time Team Leaders/Co-leaders and Academic Coaches to work in our after school programs at Schools 33 and 39. The programs run Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. Depending on the position, Team/Co-leaders will work from 3:30-6:45; Coaches will work from 4-6pm with small groups of students. Qualified candidates will have current elementary, literacy and/or special ed. certification and have experience in an elementary education setting.
